Guadalajara Downtown Hotels

Guadalajara is located in the western pacific area of Mexico and it is the capital of the state of Jalisco and the second most populated city of Mexico. Guadalajara´s downtown is historic and quite picturesque. Paseo Morelos and Plaza de Armas are the most important landmarks in the city center as well as the Cathedral of the Santisimo Sacramento.  Weather is humid and mainly tropical but winters are usually dry and mild. First, the Hotel Riu Plaza Guadalajara is a chic and modern. It is only 15 minutes away for the Guadalajara Cathedral and the historic city center. It has a great spa, gym, restaurant, outdoor pool, 24 hours reception service, luggage storage and babysitting services and free Wi-Fi access in common areas, among others. Guests receive a free breakfast and full stocked mini bar on arrival, then visitors have two restaurants with traditional and international gastronomy to pick from. Check in time starts at 3:00 pm and check out time is up to 12:00. Pets are not allowed. Prices start from 130 (USD) per room without breakfast and VTA of 19 % is not included. For the suites prices are of aprox. 330 (USD) with breakfast included and no VTA.

Hotel Morales Historical & Colonial Downtown is historic, picturesque, prices are quite convenient and location could not be better. It is located at the heart of downtown Guadalajara and very close to all city landmarks. The hotel offers 24 hour reception service, luggage storage, laundry, dry cleaning, ironing service and currency exchange among others. Prices either for double and single suites start from 70 (USD) per room and for two people with air conditioning, VTA is not included and breakfast costs 8.50 (USD).

Another great hotel, located at the center of the financial district of Guadalajara is Fiesta Americana Grand Guadalajara Country Club. It features great Mexican cuisine and offers, of course, 24 hour reception service, luggage storage, laundry, dry cleaning, ironing service and spa. Wi-Fi access in all room but it has an extra cost, pets are not allowed. Check in time starts at 3:00 pm and late check- out is possible (around 1 pm). Prices start from 140 (USD) till 205 (USD) per room for two people. VTA of 16 % is not included in these prices. Overall Guadalajara is a beautiful and historic city that worth visiting and as regards accommodation definitely offers quality hotels with affordable prices.
